Real upgrade example
A 9,400 sq ft estate at The Crosby. Crestron system installed 2011. Touchpanels stopped responding, app deprecated, lighting scenes non-functional. The homeowner had been quoted $85,000 for full replacement.
The existing Crestron processor was still functional — the problem was the control layer, not the infrastructure. We retained all 22 speakers, the structured wiring, and the Lutron Homeworks dimmers. A modern RTI control system replaced only the software and touchpanels.
